Methodology

Four strips of 110K, 140K, and 170K seeds/acre of Golden Harvest S26P3 maturity group 2.6 were planted on May, 25 in Lincoln County.  The strips were harvested and weighed in a weigh wagon.

Results

Results:

In this trial, 170K had the highest yield at 63.12 bu/ac which was higher than 140K (58.69 bu/ac) and 110K (56.44 bu/ac).  However, there were no significant yield differences between 140K and 170K (see Table 1).  Similar results have been reported in the past.
