Methodology

Soybeans were planted on June 14, 2019 at a population of 60K Seeds/acre in 30-inch rows. Soybean variety planted was 16G15. Vitazyme was applied 7/26/2019 with the rate of 13 oz/ac in 100-foot wide strips, which had eight replications.

Results

Overall, vitazyme application did not increased yield. Average decrease in yield was 0.11 bu/ac from all eight strips however it was not statistically significant. Replication 1 and 5 had decrease in yield by 6.6 and 2.96 respectively whereas all the remaining replication saws increase in yield. More plant health trials are necessary to understand this potential relationship.
