Methodology

This experiment was conducted at Lake county. Soybean variety 19GA02 and H1R6 were planted in 30 in. rows in strips on April 23, 2020. This experiment consists of two different varieties comparison and both had 125000 seeding rate with each having only one replication. Drone Imagery was collected using a fixed-wing AgEagle drone on July 28 and August 25 of 2020.

Results

Overall, this experiment does not have enough replication number for better comparison. The GNDVI scale, which ranges from -1 to 1, was calculated using drone imagery. GNDVI values closer to 1 indicate improved plant health and yield, while lower values indicate the opposite.  More research at multiple sites and replication are required to better explain the contrast between two different varieties.
