Channel 2424 RXF soybeans were planted on May 8, 2023, in 10-inch rows at 140000 seeds/ac in McCook County. Source SC was applied to the soybeans on July 20, 2023, at a rate of 1.24 fl oz per acre. The content of this product is listed in the documents below the yield maps. The product was applied in 120 ft. wide strips with 4 replications. They soybeans were harvested on October 3, 2023, and October 5, 2023.
Results
Plants treated with Source SC yielded 0.8 bu/ac less than soybeans that did not receive this product. This was a smaller difference than 2.5 bu/ac and is therefore not significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of this product would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
