Methodology

Channel 203-083VT2PRIB and Beck 5393V2P, both 103-day corn, were planted in 30-inch rows at 32,000 seeds/ac in McCook County from May 2 to May 5, 2023. On June 12, 2023, Source DC was applied to the corn at 0.7 fl oz per acre as a foliar spray. The contents of this product are listed in the document below the yield maps. Source DC was applied in 5 strips 120 ft. wide. The corn was harvested from September 16 to September 19, 2023.

Results

Plants treated with Source DC in the low yielding zones of the field yielded 8.2 bu/ac higher than corn that did not receive this product. This was more than 6.7 bu/ac and is therefore considered to be significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of the product would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
