Channel 199-60TRERIB and Pioneer P9955AM, both 99-day hybrids, were planted in 30-inch rows at 32,000 seeds/ac in McCook County on May 9, 2023. On June 12, 2023, Source DC was applied to the corn at 0.7 fl oz per acre as a foliar spray. The contents of this product are listed in the document below the yield maps. Source DC was applied in 6 strips 120 ft. wide. The corn was harvested on October 9, 2023.
Results
Plants treated with Source DC yielded 10.2 bu/ac lower than corn that did not receive this product. This was a smaller difference than 10.8 bu/ac and is therefore not considered to be significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of the product would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
