Methodology

Channel 195-85DGVT2PRIB (95 day) and Beck 4671AM (96 day) hybrids were planted in 30-inch rows at 32,000 seeds/ac in McCook County on May 10, 2023. On June 12, 2023, Source DC was applied to the corn at 0.7 fl oz per acre as a foliar spray. The contents of this product are listed in the document below the yield maps. Source DC was applied in 4 strips 120 ft. wide. The corn was harvested on September 14, 2023 and September 15, 2023.

Results

Plants treated with Source DC did not yield any different than that of corn that did not receive any product. The difference needed to be 5.8 bu/ac for there to be considered a significant difference at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of the product would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
