Methodology

Pioneer P0339Q, a 103-day hybrid, was planted in 30- inch rows at 32,000 seeds/ac in McCook County on May 5, 2023. On June 12, 2023, Source DC was applied to the corn at 0.7 fl oz per acre as a foliar spray. The contents of this product are listed in the document below the yield maps. Source DC was applied in 5 strips 120 ft. wide. The corn was harvested on October 16th and 17th, 2023.

Results

Plants treated with Source DC yielded 5.4 bu/ac lower than corn that did not receive this product. This was less than 9.4 bu/ac and is therefore not considered to be significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). Additional testing of this product would be beneficial, as the results may be different in future trials.
