Methodology

Seed treated with Originate ST biological and Expand RS root stimulator was planted in 30-inch wide rows on 4/22/22 at 139,000 seeds/acre.   Soybeans were harvested on October 10,2022.  The field was classified into two different yield zones, which were low (less than 35 bu/ac) and medium (35-55 bu/ac).  This experiment had five replications, but only four of those passed through the medium yield zone.

Results

The treated soybeans yielded  2.4 bu/ac higher than the nontreated (NT) ones, but this was less than the 4.8 bu/ac needed to call it significantly different at a 90% confidence interval  (Figure 1 & Table 1).   Additional research is needed, especially in higher yielding environments.
