Methodology
Channel 2424RXF soybeans wer planted on May 3, 2023, in 10-inch rows at 140,000 seeds/ac in McCook County. Quilt Xcel fungicide was applied to the soybeans on July 21, 2023, at a rate of 10.5 fl oz per acre. The contents of this product are listed in the documents below the yield maps. The product was applied in 120 ft. wide strips with 3 replications. The Soybeans were harvested on September 28, 2023, and September 30, 2023.
Results
Soybeans treated with Quilt Xcel fungicide yielded 1.6 bu/ac higher than soybeans that did not receive the product. This was a larger difference than 0.6 bu/ac and is therefore significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of this product would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
