Methodology
Channel 2424RXF soybeans were planted on May 10,2023, in 10-inch rows at 140,000 seeds/ac in McCook County. Quilt Xcel Fungicide was applied to the soybeans on July 21, 2023, at a rate of 10.5 fl oz per acre. The contents of this product are listed in the documents below the yield maps. The product was applied in 120 ft. wide strips with 3 replications. They soybeans were harvested on October 2, 2023.
Results
Plants treated with Quilt Xcel fungicide yielded 1.4 bu/ac lower than soybeans that did not receive this product. This was a larger difference than 0.6 bu/ac and is therefore significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of these products would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
