Methodology
Asgrow AG26XF soybeans were planted on May 1, 2023, in 10-inch rows at 140,000 seeds/ac in McCook County. Quilt Xcel was applied to soybeans on July 21, 2023, at a rate of 10.5 fl oz per acre. The contents of this product are listed in the documents below the yield maps. The products were applied in 120 ft. wide strips with 4 replications. The soybeans were harvested from September 30, 2023, through October 2, 2023.
Results
Plants treated with Quilt Xcel fungicide yielded 1.2 bu/ac lower than soybeans that did not receive these products. This was a smaller difference than 1.5 bu/ac and is therefore not significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these result, additional testing of these products would be beneficial, as other trials have seen different results.
