Methodology

RK579DGVT2P, a 99 day hybrid, was planted in 30-inch rows at 33,000 seeds/ac in Kingsbury Co. on May 3, 2023.  During planting, NanoCS was applied in-furrow at 6 oz-acre .  The contents of this product are listed in the document below the yield maps.  The corn was planted in nine strips that were each 40 ft. wide.  Corn was harvested on 10/5/23 and 10/6/23.

Results

Seed treated with NanoCS yielded 0.1 bu/ac higher than corn not receiving the product.  This was less than 2.0 bu/ac, and therefore not considered significantly different at a 90% confidence level (Table 1).  Additional testing of this product would be beneficial, as results may be different in future trials.
