Methods:
Soybeans were planted into no-till corn residue on May 8th at 155,000 seeds/acre. Stratego YLD a group 3 and 11 fungicide, was applied on July 28th at R1 (flowering) in strips, at 4.5 oz./acre. Fortalis foliar N product (8-0-0), was also applied on July 28th at R1, at a rate of 14 oz./acre.
Results
Results: When compared to the control (check strip) averages, Stratego YLD plus Fortalis applied V4, did significantly increase yields by 2.3 bushels compared to the check strip in high yielding soybeans (>55 bu./acre). The combination of the fungicide plus foliar nitrogen product did better than the treatments applied individually see Stratego YLD versus control from the same field study below.
