Methodology

Methods:

Soybeans were planted into no-till corn residue on May 8th at 155,000 seeds/acre. Urea(46-0-0), AMS (21-0-0-24S), and Potash (0-60-0) fertilizers were applied in combination for this high fertility treatment. Urea was applied to supply 200 lbs N/acre, Potash was applied to supply 100 lbs K20/acre, and an additional 50 lbs N/acre as AMS.

Results

Results:

When compared to the control (check strip) averages, the high fertility treatment (150 lbs N/A, 100lbs K20/A, and 57 lbs S/A) yielded significantly better than the control by 6.4 bushels.
