Methodology

On May 21, 2022, the variety AG18XF1 was planted in 30-inch rows at 140k seeds/ac.  During planting, Vitazyme Biostimulant was applied in-furrow at 13 oz/acre to three 60 ft. wide strips. On September 27, soybeans were harvested in 30-foot-wide passes, with yield analysis conducted on the middle pass of each treatment strip.  The field was classified into three different yield zones: low (less than 35 bu/ac), medium (35-55 bu/ac), and high (more than 55 bu/ac). This report evaluates medium yield zones. UAV image was collected on August 17, 2022, and an NDVI map was generated for plant health assessment across the field.

Results

The Vitazyme in-furrow application during planting increased soybean yields by 2.0 bu/ac. We also found better mean NDVI across all three replications. However, NDVI differences between treatments could not be detected.
