Methodology
GoldStart® (6-24-6) was applied at 4 gal/ac in-furrow at planting along with 4 oz/acre of Stimulate® and a micro blend. The field was also treated with Priaxor® and a pyrethoid insecticide at R1.
Results
In this trial, the starter fertilizer increased yield by 9.50 bu/ac. This increase in yield was significantly different. Since a starter fertilizer and hormone solution were both applied to each replication, it is unknown if the increase in yield was from the starter fertilizer or from the hormone solution.
