Asgrow AG10XF4 soybeans were planted on May 14, 2024, in 30-inch rows at 142,000 seeds/ac in Kingsbury County. Heads Up Plant Protectant was applied to to the soybeans on May 14, 2024. Seed treatment rates are 1 gram of Heads Up Plant Protectant per 34 ounces of water. This will treat 360 lbs of seed. The contents of the product are listed in the documents below the yield maps. The product was applied in 120 ft. wide strips with 4 replications. The soybeans were harvested on October 1, 2024.
Results
Soybeans treated with Heads Up Plant Protectant yielded 1.4 bu/ac higher than soybeans that did not receive the product. This was a smaller difference than 3.5 bu/ac and is therefore not significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of this product would be beneficial.
