Methodology

Methods:

For broadcast treatments, a battery-powered hand-held spinner spreader was used to seed 5 feet wide at a time.  Plots were 30-40 ft long and were harvested with a plot combine on Oct. 19.  Biomass sampling was performed in late-Nov.

Results

Results: There was no significant soybean yield difference due to the Hairy vetch cover crop.
