Methodology
WinField CP2450XF soybeans and Hefty H25XF4 soybeans were planted on May 29, 2024 in 30-inch rows at 100,000 seeds per acre in Douglas County. The soybeans were harvested on October 7, 2024 and October 8, 2024.
Results
Hefty H25XF4 soybeans yielded 1.3 bu/ac less than the WinField CP2450XF soybeans. This was a smaller difference than 3.3 bu/ac and is therefore not significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of these varieties would be beneficial.
