Methodology

This experiment was conducted at Brown county. Soybean was planted in 30 in. rows in strips on May 18 , 2020. This experiment consists of comparison between fungicide Vs. No fungicide application.  This trail had 2 replicates for each treatment. Aerial imagery was collected on August 12, 2020.

Results

On average, a fungicide resulted in yield reduction by -3.75 bu/ac which however was not statistically significant (Table 1). GNDVI value also signifies the same yield reduction pattern as fungicide application strips had lower GNDVI as compared to no fungicide application strips (Table 2).  More research at multiple sites and replication are required to better explain the contrast between two different products.
