Methodology
ESN (44-0-0) was applied at 20 lbs-N/ac by a hand spreader. The ESN was applied at R1 in late July.
Results
The ESN fertilizer increased average yield by 6.06 bu/ac. This increase in yield was significant. A yield increase of 5.01 bu/ac is significantly different at the 90% confidence level. This study determined that applying ESN to soybeans can increase yield.
