Methodology
Soybeans were drilled on June 16, 2019 at 180,000 seeds/acre in 15-inch rows . The variety was Asgrow 26×8. Delaro fungicide was applied on August 3 at the rate of 8 oz/ac in 100 feet wide strips in seven replications . For the data analysis, field was divided into three different zones i.e. High, Medium and Low yield zones. High yield zone consist yield above 55 bu/ac, medium yield zone consist yield between 35 to 55 bu/ac and lastly low yield zone consist yield lower than 35 bu/ac.
Results
At medium yield zone, Delaro increased yields by 3.64 bu/ac. Except for Rep 7, all 6 remaining replications showed an increase in yield. This yield increase was significant at the 90% confidence interval . Additional trials should be completed to identify efficacy of Delaro over multiple years.
