Methodology

Soybeans were drilled on June 16, 2019 at 180,000 seeds/acre in 7-inch rows. The variety was Asgrow 26×8. Delaro fungicide was applied on August 3 at the rate of 8 oz/ac in 100 feet wide strips in two replications. Drone image was taken on August 16, 2019.

Results

Overall, At High yielding zone of the field, delaro fungicide decreased yields by 0.36 bu/ac, however it was not significant at 90% confident Interval.  Reps 1 saw an increase in yield by 0.40 bu/ac, however Rep had decrease in yield by 1.12 bu/ac. Drone GNDVI map was matching with the yield pattern of the field. Field locations with low GNDVI had lower yield and vice versa. Moreover there was no white mold incidences observed from drone imagery. Additional trials with more replications should be completed to identify efficacy of Delaro over multiple years.
