Methodology
Mustang XF24822 soybeans were planted on May 8, 2024, in 15-inch rows at 150,000 seeds/ac in Brule County. CoMo 5 fertilizer was applied to soybeans on July 13, 2024 at a rate of 2 fl oz per acre. The contents of this product are listed in the documents below the yield map. The product was applied in 80 ft. wide strips with 6 replications. The soybeans were harvested on September 27, 2024.
Results
Soybeans treated with CoMo 5 fertilizer yielded 1.6 bu/ac lower than soybeans that did not receive the product. This was a smaller difference than 2.9 bu/ac and is therefore not significantly different at the 90% confidence level (Table 1). To validate these results, additional testing of this product would be beneficial.
