Methodology
Wensman 3143 1.4 maturity group soybeans were planted on May 22, 2017 at 160,000 seeds/acre in 15 inch rows. Aproach® fungicide was applied at R1 on July 30, 2018 at 9 ounces of Aproach® an acre in 20 gallons of water per acre. Aproach® is a group 11 fungicide.
Results
In this trial, Aproach® increased yield by 4.70 bu/ac. This yield increase was not significant. A yield increase of 10.29 bu/ac would be required for there to be significant differences at the 90% confidence level. These results showed lower yield increases when compared to previous studies.
