Methodology

Hefty 20X7 soybeans were planted in 7.5 in. and 30 in. rows in strips on May 16, 2018 at 140,000 seeds/acre.

Results

In this trial, 7.5 in. rows increases yield by 3.42 bu/ac when compared to 30 in. rows.  This increase in yield was significantly different. A yield increase of 1.35 bu/ac was met for there to be significant differences at the 90% confidence level.
