Methodology
Hefty 28X8 soybeans were planted at 200K and 130K in strips on May 2, 2018 in 7.5 inch rows.
Results
Decreasing the seeding rate from 200K to 130K had little effect on soybean yield (0.13 bu/ac). A yield change of 4.36 bu/ac would be required for there to be significant differences at the 90% confidence level.
