Methodology

Methodology:

Four strips were planted to 170,000 seeds/acre and compared to seeding rate of 140,000 seeds/acre on May 13th 2017.

Results

Results:

No significant yield difference was observed between the 170,000 to 140,000 seeding rate, in high yielding soybeans (>55 bu/A). Since the yield of the 170K is not significantly higher than 140K yields this may suggest the farmer will benefit from less seed and still receive the same yield for this field.
