Methodology

Three strips of Pioneer P16A49X were planted at 165K and 125K seeds/acre on May 19.

Results

Decreasing the seeding rate from 165K to 125K increased soybean yield by 5.74 bu/ac. This increase in yield was not significantly different.  A yield difference of 6.12 bu/ac would be required for the yields be to significantly different at the 90% confidence level.
