Methodology

Three strips of Pioneer P16A49X were planted at 145K and 165K seeds/acre on May 19.

Results

Increasing the seeding rate from 145K to 165K had a small effect (0.12 bu/ac) on soybean yield.  A yield difference of 2.89 bu/ac would have been required for the yields be to significantly different at the 90% confidence level.
