Seeding Rate/ Varieties/ Row Spacing, Low Yield
Three strips of Pioneer P16A49X were planted at 125K and 145K seeds/acre on May 19.
Decreasing the seeding rate from 145K to 125K increased soybean yield by 2.46 bu/ac. This increase in yield was not significantly different. A yield difference of 2.68 bu/ac would be required for the yields be to significantly different at the 90% confidence level.
