Methodology

One strip of Pioneer P16A49X was planted at 100K and 125K seeds/acre on May 19.

Results

Increasing the seeding rate from 100K to 125K decreased soybean yield by 1.61 bu/ac. However, since there was only one replication, no statistical analysis could be performed to test for differences between treatments.  Further research is needed to determine if this decrease in yield was significantly different.
