We’re looking for growers to be part of a trial research program in coordination with SDSU Extension. The On-Farm Research Program is a farmer-led, on-farm strip trial research program that can provide ideas and answers to the essential agronomic issues facing South Dakota soybean growers.

It’s your program, so you decide what you want to have studied and evaluated on your farm. SDSU Extension will provide the information and expertise so that, working together, you can design and set up your unique research project. Once you’re signed up, an SDSU Extension researcher will arrange for an initial meeting to talk about your needs. Once your study is set up, there will be periodic visits to assess the progress of your unique study. At the end, you’ll receive a customized report and recommendations for implementation in your operation.
